Why this role matters
We’re not building another law firm. We’re productizing legal & compliance work. That means: turning legal knowledge into digital flows that scale. This is where you come in. You’ll help us translate complex regulations into clear, structured processes, so that our AI and product team can build them into features.
You’ll also work directly with clients, advising them on GDPR, contracts, and AI Act challenges, and feeding those insights back into product design.
What you’ll do
Design legal & compliance workflows for the product (think: data breach assessments, GDPR applicability checks, AI risk classification).
Work with our product and AI/ML teams to translate laws into logic (decision trees, registers, templates).
Provide legal advice & consulting to clients (contracts, data protection, compliance strategy).
Keep us sharp: track new regulations and figure out how they affect our platform.
Be the bridge between lawyers, engineers, and customers.
What we’re looking for
Law degree + 5 years of experience in privacy, AI, commercial contract law, IT law, or compliance.
Strong analytical and consulting skills, you can break down complex rules and explain them simply. No lawyer mindset, but practical no-nonsense advice.
Comfortable working with tech teams, you don’t need to code, but you like working with engineers.
Curious about how AI, law, and product intersect.
Pragmatic: you know the difference between “gold-plated compliance” and “what actually works.”
Fluent in Dutch & English
Bonus points if:
You’ve worked with SaaS/scale-ups or legal-tech before.
You’ve used legal tech tools and thought “I could design this better so that it better fits my and my clients' needs.”
